I am currently driving a 2009 Tiguan with a leaky sunroof…
Anyway aside from the sunroof issue which I have conceded will never get fixed I now have another issue.
The Bluetooth on the Tiguan keeps losing connection to my iPhone XS.
I looked online and found a YouTube video which said I just need to take out the connection for a few seconds and then reconnect and it will reset and work!???? sure enough this worked for about a month and now it has started to lose connection again, so this morning I disconnected and reconnected and hopefully that will solve the issue for the moment.
My question is if I was to replace the Volkswagen OEM VW UHV Premium Bluetooth 5N0035730D rSAP module with the same module would I need to recode anything or should it just plug and play so to speak?
I have seen them on eBay for a couple of hundred but don't want to purchase if I then have to take to VW for coding.
