Hi
Can anyone pls help. I have considerable water in passenger side rear footwell. Rear drivers side has also got some. The pano roof drains at front are clear, but I think rear are blocked. When I parked on a hill and poured water in sunroof cassettes water disappeared but never can put under the car. Already paid VW £200 to fix and they couldn’t find fault? How do I access and clear rear drains or is it a specialist job!
Any advice welcomed.
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike, when I pointed you here, I did say you need to search for the several articles on this exact issue.

Hi Mike,
I had the same issue on my 2008 Tiguan with sunroof. The VW repair shop wanted unreasonable amounts of money so I had to look into it myself. It was super easy, you can do it with ease. In the side panels in the trunk , remove the panels. Right side is easier since you can easily see the blue drainage there. If you have a small hand you can reach it, it should be stuck in the bottom, just pull it upwards and remove whatever is clogging it.
on the left side it is placed on the same point, however there you will need to remove the side panels a bit more. You can do it!
All the best.
