I went for a test drive of a Tig SE at my local dealer. When I approached the vehicle I noticed it had a cracked windscreen,
the crack started from halfway up the windscree pillar on the driver's side. The crack appeared to start from the edge of the windscreen
and extended towards the centre of the screen, the length was approx. 120mm. There was no sign of any stone damage and the salesman
seemed to be totally mystified as to how it had happened. I wonder if this could be a potential design fault ?
Has anyone else noticed anything similar.

could be a couple of causes - the screen may have had a edge crack before being fitted, or caused during fitting - also, if the cars been lifted (on/off a low loader) the chassis can be twisted which can cause screens to crack. I'd be very suprised if the car design caused it, however of course I could be proved wrong
