Hi. On my daughter's 2013 Tiguan, there is a component under the engine cover between coil packs 2 and 3 and I can't figure out what it is. It looks to have a vacuum line to it, but there is no vacuum that I can tell (at least at idle). Wondering if it is some type of breather? I have looked at pictures and videos of other 2013's and can't seem to spot this on other ones.

Can someone please identify this wire connection on top of motor, seems to not be connected to anything or anything plugged into it ???

Thanks Lins! Fuuny someone just had the same question. A bit confused if I will need to replace this when I replace the intake manifold (just ordered a new aftermarket one)?

I guess you’d have to check with the aftermarket company.
