Hello, I just got my daughter a 2014 SE Tiguan and when I was changing the oil and filter I noticed something on the intake manifold that looks like a hose port but nothing was connected to it.
What is that for?
All inputs are appreciated!

Thanks

It's a blocked off port for a boost or an accessory tap. If you stick something inside you will.see it's blocked. If it was open it wouldn't even run.

On the previous generation motor the PCV hose was attached there. But on the 888.1 motor they moved it to the front to aid in vapor recovery but left the casting from the old. You can drill it out and attach a boost tap if you want a mechanical boost gauge.
