Hi , Im new to the tiguan forum and hoping that someone out there may be able to help me.
I had a problem with my 12v aux sockets, basically everytime of late we used them it would blow a fuse after a few blown fuse's we found out my 3 year old son had dropped a one pence piece copper coin in the chamber of the socket causing the circuit to "short" out!
Unfortunately for me whilst trying to trace the problem i thought id check all the fuses one by one, since fixing the 12v aux socket problem i now have no power to the heater/ac blower.
Firstly I was wondering if anyone could help me get a copy of the fuse layout diagram just to make sure i have definitely put the fuses back in the correct order(none of the fuses have blown at present but i just want to makesure they are all in the correct allocated spaces)..........i have looked in the owners manual but it doesnt break down which fuse does what and the picture they show does not correspond with my standard "S" edition tiguan.
Secondly if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem maybe regarding that there isnt any 12v supply coming down the live to the back of the blower/heater/ac control knob...............we have traced the live feed along dashboard under glove box and there is still no live feed. So somewhere between the engine bay fuse board and where it enters behind the dashboard is a mystery.
