Since this is kind of my glorified progress thread I'll add this here. Had some issues with the rear spring spacers. In my opinion these should have come with a steel sleeve in the center of the spacer.
Reason, because the positioning collar is weak compared to the force exerted on it from the spring itself. Causing it to fold over when the spring has force against it. Which caused the spring to shift out of position. Not good.
So I pressed steel sleeves into the center of the spacers and reinstalled them with a 7/8x5" bolt, 3/4" washers (one on the top of the spacer and one under the control arm) and torqued it down with about all the strength I had to be sure the spacer wouldn't shift or fold again. This was the final result.
Did this Monday and have run a few rough terrain areas but nothing to crazy and they have held fine after the fix.
Next thing on the list is to correct the front sway bar mounts. Since essentially the body was lifted, the oem end links on my sway bar were too long, measuring at 13 1/4" I had to find something shorter since the sway bar is now closer to the other end link mount. I found these on ECS Tuning, and they are fully adjustable from 11" to 13.3".
I've been running without my swaybar connected for the past week and it is amazing how much roll and oversteer the sway bar actually prevents. So I can't wait to install these this weekend.
Once those are installed, the Tiguan will be going in for a solid 4 wheel alignment. Then hopefully wheels and tires to follow soon...
