Hi.

My DPF light came on and I have had a long run at 2.5k revs for 30mins. The light is still on. Went to the mechanic and there are no fault codes other than p2563 - I need to get the turbo actuator adjusted. We went to regenerate the DPF and it said that there was 20g of soot and only do it If it is above 45g. With no fault codes specific to the dpf what can it be.

Many thanks in advance

How many miles on the vehicle? I'd go ahead and force a Regen, or get it on the highway for an extended period. There is probably more soot then it's reporting. If the turbo issue was causing issues there is probably something plugging up the DPF. When on the highway slow down and speed up many times to clear things out. Wind it up a bit in sport mode as well. I had a few issues like this on my CR140 TDI after Tuning if I shut the car off too many times during a Regen.
