Hi Sussex Pete, You reminded me that I have a couple of old phones to delete so just popped out to the Tig and followed the following instructions, found on page 15 of the following document:-
Operating Manual, Mobile telephone provison, Standard , Plus.

Deleting a paired mobile telephone from the mobile telephone provision.

• Using the multi-function steering wheel, in the telephone menu, switch to the Bluetooth sub-menu.
• Switch to the user sub-menu
• select the user you wish to delete
• Select delete in the sub-menu, the deleting process will take up to 30 seconds.

I followed the above with the engine switched on and running, and managed to delete all my four old phones.
