Hi all Tig owners (this is my first actual post!)

I just put a deposit on a "executive driven" 103TDI and we will see it tomorrow at dealer premises (Sydney).

My question is: what is included and not included in the CPS? It is unclear on the VW website and directs you back to their website to check what is included - so no answer what so ever.

Also - do you think we can use an MTA registered mechanic or a VW specialist mechanic and still retain the 3 yr warranty and then the 3 yr dealer warranty? (I will ask the dealer as well).

Looking forward to opinions!

Morning OD Or is it evening for you

CPS = Capped Price Servicing

Looks like another one to add to your list of TLA's

Thanks for the replies and sorry to confuse about Capped Price Servicing - here in Australia! It is 90,000 km or 72 months (6 years) of services with the prices known in advance. It seems filters and oils are included, but several things are not included - pollen filter, brake fluid, Haldex Fluid. Also it seems you can use an MTA (Motor Transport Authority) registered mechanic or VW specialist and not affect the 3 year new car warranty, but if you did, you would void the extra 3 yr dealer warranty. So it has to be VW mechanics if you want the full 6 year warranty. We pick the car up in a few more days!
