All right so I have a metra axxess module and honestly I'm not impressed. I have used one of these before on a mk 4 Jetta and I remember it being an absolute nightmare then but I got it to work. I have talked to the Metra customer support five or six times and we have gotten to the point where my radio will turn on but will only stay on for a few seconds. I bought two modules because we thought one was dead, turns out the one that was dead is actually the better of the two and the new one is non-functional.
Do you all know of another radio harness adapter kit that would work besides these axxess modules? Or should I just find a 12 volt power source and run a wire. I checked one of the fuse panels but didn't find anything that really worked well.
