I like how they class Toyota Prius's in the same class as BMW's!

P.S. Even though I also drive a beemer I hope my considerate VAG driving skills win out!

No surprise.  Prius are commonly used as taxi here and we all know how taxi drivers are.  As for BMW, I have heard people calling those a__hole drivers many times.

This reminds me of my company car days. After I was promoted from a field engineering to a management role (in the computing industry, around 1982) I became eligible for a company car.  The decision was simple - they gave you a list of boring cars (Ford, Vauxhall, Rover) and you selected one. I started with a cast-off Ford Escort then got a new Vauxhall Astra 1.3L.

With the passage of time I gained a few promotions and the car policy evolved - until when I reached the dizzy heights of senior management you could choose ANY car using a monthly allowance; and if you chose above your allowance you could pay the difference yourself.  My colleagues in the same pay grade were opting for flash BMW 5 series cars, and paying £2-300 a month of their own money to secure their cars.  I discovered that if I chose a fully spec'd Vauxhall Vectra instead, I gained the balance of the allowance which meant that I got an extra £200 in my monthly pay.

Yes, BMW drivers are jerks!  And somewhat lacking in the brain department!

Being an ex BMW driver, I can relate to the study, I might also add that Mecedes drivers are just as bad, particularly here in Germany on the Autobahns. There are certain autobahns where Mecedes test the new cars at speeds of over 200kph and there have been a number of fatalities on these autobahns caused by these so called test drivers. One in paricular comes to mind, a couple of years ago a young mother with a small child on board was run off the road. Mother and child were killed.
