Installing euro headlight switch. Original switch removal ; it isnt releasing by pushing in / turning right. I m assuming that fuse panel access on side removal plus reaching in from behind should help?

Is it at least going in? When you push it in then turn, it locks in that position. If it's still not releasing, use a screwdriver through the fuse panel to help pop it out

Thanks for tips.. I ve opened fuse side panel to hopefully push it out. My switch doesnt seem to lock, it kicks back after turning to right.
So, do I push straight in from behind or twist and push?

Push in the knob from the off position, turn to the right as far as it will go and it should lock enough to pull the switch straight out with a yank. If not while it's as far right as it can go , use a long paint stick or screw driver or reach up from the little glove box under it. And pop it out, from behind. It's easier with 2 sets of hands.

On mine you need to pull it half out and to the right to get the release setting
