Totally a Newbie ??
What is the best tuner for a 2019 Rline ?

I bought the extended warranty as don’t want to loose that.
But I have now problem removing a tune before going to dealer.

Do these tuners leave a trail that can void my warranty?
I emailed Racechip and they state that it does not void warranty but make sure u remove it each time.
And it does not leave a trail that the dealer can detect.

Is racechip the best way to go?

Racechips discussed here: https://www.mytiguan...018-tiguan-sel/ If you wish to discuss it, go to the other thread.

A real tune WILL change the software checksum in the ECU and is detectable. The only way to remove it is to re-flash to stock which is not typically a DIY item.

Racechip isn't  a ECU tune, it is a piggyback controller, hence why  they recommend removing it before it goes to the dealership.

the MK7 folks love the JB4  piggyback controller.

I'm not a fan of them.  I had one on my MK4 TDI, and when I started to get weird codes... that's when I yanked it out, and eventually got an custom ECU tune from a guy in poland.
