Hi. I was wondering. I own a tiguan 2013 2.0 tdi 110hp. Is the classic one manual 2wd. Etc.
Now the problem is that driving this car for about 1 year I feel that sometimes I need more power so I want to ask maybe give me somebody like a mechanic an advice where I should modify ? To get maybe 150 or 170hp. It could be the turbo? Injectors? Exhaust? Does this could affect the stability of the engine in anyway? I'm mostly doing the mechanics by myself as I have a van and is a must to learn mechanics if want to keep the money on the pocket...
What is the diffrence between this tiguan models from 110hp to 150 or 170 On tdi engine as I see is the same capacity of 2.0 litre...
And if so wich parts could you recommend?
From ECU what should I modify to get more power? I have all the tools for mechanics and software so it won't be a problem...
Thank you

tiguan 2.0 tdi classic more power?

I believe a reputable remap maybe the way to go (I still have doubts about tuning boxes for the later ecu.)

That's encouraging to hear, thanks for replying.
I've sent Parkway VW Derby a message asking them to comment on the software update from version 8213 to 9921 and have quoted TPI 2029258 which details the reason for the update. This info was kindly provided by Ross Tech.
Did the update fix the mpg mismatch?
Yip you need a remap, I got my 140hp mapped up to 175 by shark and it has transformed the car. There are various others highly recommended. I narrowed it down to either shark or revo and opted for shark as they had a dealer nearer me and I get a good deal.

Hi. Also with the remap you'll need a new bigger turbo in order to resist to 150 - 170 hp.
If not, due to the high pressure, the one you actually have will break up in 6 months maximum

Revo claim you'll see 160bhp - 170bhp from just a stage 1 remap.

I doubt you’ll get 50 to 60bhp from just a remap,
On a 110bhp I’d imagine you’d be lucky to see 25bhp more

To get the bhp from 110 up to 140 - 170? Are talking turbo and injectors and a remap? Possible remove the DPF as well?I doubt you’ll get 50 to 60bhp from just a remap,

You can see some dyno runs on youtube with this type of engine getting 190 to 200hp.
So, from engine side, you can go to 170hp. The doubt for me is the clutch.
