After more than looking at pictures..
You mention 40-50 mm lift - are You including the effect of bigger tyres here as well or You are going over the recomended 25 mm suspension lift?

Thanks!

The tires add 25mm so over all it has 65mm up front and 75mm our back.

So it`s over the 25 mm limit that supposedly is safe for working angle tolerances for suspension/transmission elements (I think the CV was the main thing mentioned as problematic). Are You experiencing any issues? And how did You achieve this much lift? The poly spacers I can find are + 20 mm max.

Thanks

I’ve had absolutely zero issues. No cv bind or dropping out, shocks do fine with no topping out. I’ve had it flexed pretty good too. I am going to get the rear shock extenders when I put the springs on, should give me about 30mm in shock range with the lift. The spacers I sourced are from a seller named Tema4x4, they offer 20/30/40mm for the fronts and 30/40/50mm for the rear. I definitely recommend a 10mm difference from the front to rear so that you level the ride height.

Thank You for the seller`s name, found the shop. Even better than other ones I found - it comes with hardware.

Got the new grille installed. Discontinued ABT, been searching for this piece for a while, so I’m really excited about it. But opinions on this would help... should I leave it black, color match or have it hydro dipped to look like brushed aluminum?

I think leaving it black will look best IMHO.

Very nice looking Tig. Don't care for the wheels, but hey that's my problem. Good job, beautiful VW.

Yeah they are certainly not for everyone, but different strokes for different folks I suppose. Lol. Thanks for the compliment!

Here is one from today at the lake.

Hit the trails this weekend. Had a blast and everything was dry so I didn’t come out muddy. Just a lot of dust. Climbed some hills and only slightly bottomed out once. Otherwise the little Tig did fantastic! I’m ready for more!!

Wish I had taken more pictures from the last trail ride. Got a show next weekend in Maggie Valley NC and hoping to find a few trails to ride along our there. Cheers!
